An innovative approach to MSR education
The ENDURANCE project has a strong focus on bridging the gap among the key players in the development of MSR technology. This holistic approach to MSR development can also profit from dedicated educational actions to attract the new generations of students and young researchers to this field of nuclear engineering.
In ENDURANCE we are planning to leverage on the pre-existing effort on education in MSR, carried our by many of ENDURANCE partners during previous Euratom projects, and to provide a more engaging experience to prospective students.
We have then created an educational package, composed of:
Pre-recorded lectures (developed within the E&T actions carried out during the SAMOSAFER project and made freely available on the corresponding YouTube channel) A tool for student self-assessment, as a series of quizzes, based on the contents provided in the lectures, to be carried out by the students at their own pace

As part of ENDURANCE E&T effort, we are planning to use this first educational action as the base for more advanced, experience-based, activities for the people who are interested in being engaged in hands-on activities.

You will be involved in project works, stemming from the research activities in ENDURANCE, which will become part of the Second Edition of the Young SMR Conference, jointly organized with the ENDURANCE Advanced MSR School.
